WHY DO WE (NOT) KNOW EACH OTHER?

Untold Serbian-Hungarian Stories

This year's 14th SOMUS From October 27-31, 2026, explores the musical connection between our and Hungarian artists and, in its own way, contributes to the appreciation of a culture so geographically close by, inviting the best Hungarian artists, performing the music of their celebrated creators, and above all, celebrating the 100th birthday of their greatest living composer - György Kurtág!

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the sister city partnership between Sombor and Baja, SOMUS also invites students from the “Ferenc Liszt” Music School in Baja, along with students and professors from the Sombor music school. Come to Sombor to get to know us better!
