Nocturne in g minor
One of the most important pianists of the younger generation, laureate of the competition in Leeds, after winning the award "Young talents competition" in Milan, at the age of 13 he performed with the famous Itzhak Perlman in New York. Winner of the most prestigious award for music in France "Victoires de la musique classique" in 2010, Kadouch has released nine CDs so far. He studied piano with Jacques Rouvier at the Paris Conservatory, Dmitry Bashkirov in Madrid, and collaborated with pianists such as Daniel Barenboim, Murray Peraya, Maria Joao Pires, Maurizio Pollini, Stephen Kovacevich, Eliso Virsaladze... About the program that he will perform at Somus, which is part of the CD "Music of Madame Bovary" acclaimed by critics all over the world, David Kadouch says: "I wanted to imagine the music that Emma Bovary might have listened to during her short life, recalling the often forgotten female composers of Flaubert's time with the question: could the fate of Emma Bovary, her suicidal act, have been avoided, if those women composers had been recognized as they deserve?". An interactive concert with a conversation with the audience and educational guidance through the program.
