At the final concert of the festival, we celebrate female interpreters and the transmission of knowledge through the female line through the generations. For the first time at Somus, we have the honor of hosting cellists Ksenija Janković and Irena Josifoska. As a former student of Ksenija Janković in Detmold, Irena continues her studies in Berlin with the famous professor Jens Peter Maintz. The youngest semi-finalist of the Queen Elizabeth competition in Brussels, laureate of the Musical Youth competition in Belgrade, laureate of the "Gabrielli" competition in Berlin, Irena has embarked on a very notable international career.

Our most famous cellist and prominent pedagogue, Ksenija Janković and Irena Josifoska, after a period of being a student/professor, today two excellent artists, together with Ksenija Janković's long-time collaborator, Jacqueline Bourgès-Maunoury, will present to the Sombor audience works for one and two cellos, the instrument closest to the human voice.
